At Dayton, the Ohio Motorcyclists for Children custom bobber got a lot of interest from the trade, as well as the consumers who attended the show. Many of the exhibitors there wanted to know more about the upcoming Roll On Columbus next May 22, and were especially supportive of the idea of helping Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Pictured here, Bill Schlak Sr. and Bill Schlak Jr. have offered a custom leather saddle featuring the OMC logo, making our bobber even more unique and desirable. The Schlak’s Outside The Box leather saddle company is a division of Spitfire Custom Motorcycles of Fairfield, Ohio. Schlack Sr. has been doing fine custom leather work for 45 years, and his saddles sell for upwards of $800. This is one of the great things about companies in the motorcycle industry. When it comes to charity, they don’t compete, they pitch in. For more information about Outside The Box leather work, go to http://www.outsidetheboxcycleseats.com.
The Beckner’s House of Rides booth at the Dayton Motorcycle Expo, which featured our Ohio Motorcyclists for Children bobber, got a lot of attention, including coverage on Two Wheel Thunder Television. Pictured here, Jimmy Kay interviews Josh Beckner and Jamie Wilson, the builders of the OMC bobber. For more information about Two Wheel Thunder TV, go to http://www.twowheelthundertv.com.
The Ohio Motorcyclists for Children bobber was a big hit at the Dayton Motorcycle Expo. People loved the bike and responded with strong interest in the raffle and Roll On Columbus. They couldn’t quit admiring the paint job. Powder coating on the frame is by Miracle Custom Coatings of Zanesville, Ohio, and the stunning work on tank and fender is by Lou’s Body Shop of Sunbury, Ohio. Of course, for attention getting value, it did not hurt that the bike was surrounded by additional fabulous eye-candy from Beckner’s House of Rides, the builder of the OMC bobber. It was a great debut of the bobber and a great launch for our Roll On Columbus marketing campaign.
